The original Haunted Walk tour is designed for ages 12 and up, with genuinely eerie content and dark themes. A family-friendly “Kids’ Walk” is offered for younger children, focusing on fun ghost stories rather than horror. Check the website for age recommendations by tour type.

Wear comfortable walking shoes with good grip—the tour covers approximately 2 km over sidewalks and uneven heritage paths. Dress for the weather, as the entire tour is outdoors. Bring a light jacket even in summer, as evening temperatures near the river can drop quickly.

The Original Haunted Walk is the flagship experience and the best starting point, covering Parliament Hill, the Bytown Museum, and the haunted Château Laurier.
